"I have a 9 month old Miniature Schnauzer who seems to have developed allergies over the past few months. He was just constantly chewing at himself. We kept trying different things that we thought might help (for example: changing his shampoo) but nothing seemed to help. "My dog is six years old who started having seizures in May 2007, due to a reaction to heartworm prevention. His first was a grand mal seizure. After his second seizure in June he was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. His third seizure was in August, at which time his doctor wanted to start him on anti-seizure medications. Since this medication can alter personality, I wanted to wait and discussed a gluten free diet. I switched him to Blue Buffalo in August and he has been seizure free for five months with no medication. "I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about your blue senior dry dog food and my best friend. My dog is an 87 lb rottweiler/german shepherd who turned 9 on 10/14. 3 years ago while playing in the yard he blew out his right knee. After a $2500 surgery he seemed to be doing alright. A year later, after a heavy rain storm he slipped on a mass of wet leaves and injured his other knee. Unable to afford another surgery, I was told by our vet that dogs are able to walk on 3 legs and that he would limp around but otherwise he was in excellent health and would live for many more years. Last year while at my local pet store; I came across a young man representing your company. I listened to his sale pitch and what he said made sense to me, so I bought a large bag of the senior dry dog food. Now, I don't know if it is a simple matter of coincidence or if your product is magic, but my best friend who has been eating (loving) your dog food since last year is now running as if he was a 6 month old puppy. He stopped limping several months ago and we realized that he was walking on all 4 legs just like he had before he injured himself the second time. He took to the blue as I gradually introduced it to him, as if he had been eating it all along. "We found Blue at our local pet store. We got a second Long Coat Akita to keep the Akita we already have company and have a playmate. Our new female Akita is on Blue's puppy food. We also switched our other Akita to Blue. So far, the puppy is 4 months old and weighs 55 pounds. The surprising thing is my older dog only weighed 39 pounds at the same age eating Iams. I attribute the extra weight and health to Blue Buffalo. If my adult dog had been on the same food I'm sure he would also have a heaver weight at that age. If my puppy keeps growing at her current rate she is likely to grow larger than our adult dog who currently weighs 133 and he is 6 years old. "I have a Silky puppy and a 1 year old Cairn Terrier. I have always taken steps to provide the best quality of food and treats for my two boys. I was feeding them a highly ranked dog food one of the brands you can't go to Target or Walmart and buy and I couldn't understand why they would always leave food in their dishes. "I just wanted to say Thank You! I do Doberman rescue and rehab and always have a house full of dogs that need special care. I have old and young dogs that come from some very bad situations and are all nutritionally starved. I have one that has major tummy issues including chronic SIBO and EPI. "We have two dogs - a cocker spaniel (Oreo) and spitz/retriever mix (Boomer). Over 2007, Boomer scratched and ate at himself quite a bit, enough to develop sores. Thinking it was just the Atlanta heat and humidity, we kept him shaved; but, this seemed to help little. My wife did some research and clicked on a banner ad for Blue Buffalo on one of the sites she was visiting. After reading through your website, she ordered a sample. When we received the sample, we gave it to both boys, who wanted seconds - along with the itching, Boomer had taken to eating only about every other time that he was fed, and even then would only eat about 1/2 of his portion; so, his wanting seconds encouraged us greatly. We visited our local Pet store and found that the pricing was reasonable - only a bit higher than the "regular" foods, but not as high as other 'all natural' and 'organic' foods. In the three weeks since we started feeding them Blue Buffalo, we have noticed that Boomer's coat has become softer, almost as soft as it was before last summer, and that his wounds have healed, indicating that he is not as "itchy" as he was right up to the time we started the Blue Buffalo. Boomer has also taken to wanting treats now as we have been giving Blue Buffalo treats as well - he used to shy away from almost all treats except chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter.
